One of the best pieces of advice I can give someone starting out in adulthood is to keep things as simple as possible. Decision fatigue is real. The simpler you make things in your life, the fewer small decisions you have to make. This will enable you to have more mental bandwidth to make bigger decisions.
Over the 30 days of September, I am posting videos with ideas and suggestions on how to simplify areas of your life. These are directed at those that still live at home with family, away at college, or out on your own. I will be covering everything from reducing your phone notifications, simplifying your beauty/ get handsome routine, setting reminders so you don’t have to constantly try to remember to make an appointment, and tools to simplify your money. Along the way, I will share my mistakes and struggles and how I overcame overwhelm.
Videos are posted on all my socials @debbietalksalot. http://www.youtube.com/@debbietalksalot See the Simplify September playlist.
