Making people smile is my goal. One of the best ways I can do that is to teach others exceptional customer service skills. I have been in customer service for over 30 years. Honestly, 40 years if you count selling candy bars in Little League, and being a teacher’s helper in elementary school. Really that’s all customer service, so yeah, I’m counting that. Besides, I sold a ton of candy over the years! I love talking to people and having fun while helping my customers.

I have received commendations for excellent customer service at all jobs I’ve had. Yes, I’m bragging! My experience spans a variety of positions from selling popcorn at my first job at the second busiest movie theater in its chain, to selling clothing, putting temporary employees to work (hardest customer service job ever), issuing building permits, selling hamburgers, and more. Currently, I work as an Administrative Assistant and sell hamburgers as a second job. For fun, I run a junior football cheerleading program. I coach 70+ cheerleaders aged 6 to 14 years old. And shout out to my two awesome adult kids that also provide an excellent customer experience at their jobs.

I enjoy front line customer service. No really, I do! I also like to watch people serving others. Yes, I judge. I also, offer encouragement and suggestions to those new in their position. I’m also one of those people that makes sure the manager knows when I have had excellent service.
